Dean Foods

This unique project takes waste gas off of digesters for the production of milk products to create carbon negative electricity.

Carbon negative electricity production from dairy gas

Vergent began servicing this biogas-to-electricity CHP system at Dean Foods site  in 2014.  This site takes carbon negative dairy gas from the production of milk products and uses it to create clean electricity for the site while also putting over 2MMBTU/hr of heat back into the systems digesters.
